Cords and Slings

One important use of long static thin cords is as tag lines. The other use I put these to is for creating quad anchors or a multi point (3 or more) Trad anchor. Gipfel Climbing sells 6mm & 7mm cords in long enough lengths for use as a tag line.

120 cm slings are the most versatile and work both as Personal Anchoring System and for setting up anchors for belay or top rope. The two materials have their own pros and cons and these have been discussed at great detail. Locally, Decathlon and Petzl sell Nylon and Dyneema slings.
